When Electrifying your Porsche 911, the Tesla Drive Unit is the best option for customisability and position, but how to mount it safely?
eDub’s Subframe holds a Tesla Large Rear Drive Unit perfectly, and connects to the chassis’ original mounting holes. This means no additional welding or drilling, and so conforms to DVLA and IVA standards in the UK, and similar standards internationally.
eDub’s subframe also holds a battery box, combined with a smaller battery box in the front of the Porsche, means you can install 24 Battery Modules, keeping the weight close to as original, with better weight distribution, with up to 62kWh capacity for over 200 mile range.
