eDub’s Subframe holds a Tesla small Rear Drive Unit perfectly, and connects to the chassis’ original mounting holes. This means no additional welding or drilling, and so conforms to DVLA and IVA standards in the UK, and similar standards internationally.
eDub’s subframe also holds a battery box, combined with a smaller battery box on the petrol tank shelf means you can install 16 Battery Modules all in the engine bay, keeping the weight and distribution as original, with up to 37kWh capacity for 100 mile range.
eDub’s subframe also includes mounting for radiators, 6.6kW charging, DCDC converter and many fixing holes.
